本品學名為雙（甲氧基乙氧基）氫化鋁鈉，純物質為白色固體，商品為甲苯溶液，分解溫度是205℃、閃電式155℃，比重是1.12g/cm³。在干燥環境下可長期存放，不與氧氣反應。它是一種強力氫化物還原劑，可以將羧酸酸酐及內酯還原成二元醇，也可將酰胺、腈或是亞胺及大部分含氮的有機化合物還原成對應的胺。沸點：396-402℃；密度：1.036g/ml at 25℃

The pure sodium dihydro-bis-(2-methoxyethoxy)aluminate is white solid,flash point:155℃,density:1.12g/cm⁴,It is soluble in toluene and its decomposition temperature is 205℃.In dry environment,it can be stored for a long time and does not react with oxygen.It is a powerful hydride reductant that can reduce carboxylic acid anhydride and lactone into dihydric alcohol,and also reduce carboxylic acid anhydride,lactone and nost organic compounds containing nitrogen into the corresponding amines.
